How We Protect You

Helping You Bank with Confidence

At Texas Bay Credit Union, protecting your accounts and personal information is a top priority. We use multiple layers of security to help secure your information, monitor for suspicious activity, and enable you to stay in control of your accounts and finances.
We monitor card activity for potentially fraudulent transactions and contact you if unusual activity is detected. In the event that we identify a suspicious transaction, you will receive a text message so you can quickly verify whether it is legitimate.
When you access Digital Banking on a browser or our mobile app, your information is encrypted to help keep your personal and financial data secure.
Access your accounts confidently using the security features available on your device, including Face ID®, Touch ID®, and fingerprint authentication where supported.
When we detect a login from a new device or browser, we send you an email notification to help you stay informed about activity on your account.
For first-time online banking logins, we use one-time passcodes to verify your identity and add an extra layer of protection.
To help prevent unauthorized activity, we send confirmation notifications when external accounts are added and when external transfers are initiated.
Misplaced your debit or credit card? Your Digital Banking account comes with the ability to lock or unlock your card from your phone, helping you maintain control if your card is lost, stolen, or temporarily misplaced.
Your accounts come with options to customize alerts and notifications to stay informed about important account activity, balances, transactions, and more.
You have the ability to monitor your credit at any time through Credit Sense, powered by SavvyMoney®. Receive insights into your credit profile and stay informed about changes that may affect your financial well-being.
Reduce the risk of mailed statements being lost or intercepted by enrolling in eStatements and accessing your account documents securely online.
Your Digital Banking account comes with the ability to send money to friends and family using Zelle® without having to share your account number or sensitive financial information.
