Texas Bay Credit Union and UPVETS successfully collected 600 toys and $10,040 during our 2025 Toys for Tots drive to support Greater Houston families. Thanks to your support and generosity, hundreds of families in need of support in our communities will have a joyful holiday this year.

This year, Texas Bay is once again giving five worthy high school seniors heading to college or vocational school a $3,000 scholarship. Applications are open as of December 1, 2025 and will close March 30, 2026. If you wish to be considered, learn what you need to qualify and apply for this scholarship.

A Message from the CEO: Addressing the Bank Failures of March 2023
On March 12, 2023, Signature Bank in New York was closed and the FDIC was appointed as receiver and subsequently sold to Flagstar Bank NA. The very next day, Silicon Valley Bank in California failed as well. The news rocked the financial industry and scared accountholders across the nation. Our President and CEO, Jesse Gutierrez, issued a note to our members addressing the health of Texas Bay.
