News: Texas Bay Credit Union & Goodwill Houston-Galveston Launch Financial Workshop Series

Houston, Texas (October 19, 2026) – Texas Bay Credit Union is proud to announce its partnership with Goodwill Houston-Galveston Career Centers, united by a shared commitment to helping community residents achieve financial success.

This month, the organizations will host the first in a series of free financial workshops focused on practical money management skills. The first workshop will take place:

This interactive session is open to community residents seeking to build a strong financial foundation, take control of their spending, and work toward their financial goals with confidence.

Texas Bay believes a strong financial future begins with financial education, and this workshop is one of several free learning resources it provides for the communities it serves.

To date, the credit union has connected over 8,500 people to free financial courses through Zogo, a financial education app. It also offers free Financial Wellness Checks at its nine branches and downloadable resources, including budgeting workbooks, through its website.

Through its partnership with Goodwill Houston-Galveston, Texas Bay continues its mission to equip individuals with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to make informed decisions and build a stronger financial future.
